The Difference Between 'Quality Control' & 'Quality Assurance' When Talking to Chinese Suppliers
‘Quality Control’ (QC) and ‘Quality Assurance’ (QA) are not the same thing. Quality Control is part of a Quality Assurance program together with other factors. While QC focuses on the production and end product quality, QA is the overall monitoring of the entire product supply process from designs, prototypes, production, finishing, supply, delivery, etc., and everything in between. It is important not to confuse QA and QC and these terms should not be used interchangeably.
